Then I heard ‘Enter into The Voice of God; Enter Knowledge’.

I thought to check out the meaning of the three keywords/expression in the message – Enter, Voice of God, and Knowledge.

Enter

From my childhood, ‘Enter’ is one of the words I found commonly used as a child and until the present, so, I thought I know the meaning. However, for my discourse. I wanted a fresh perspective or another understanding of the word. Indeed, I came across different meanings of the word ‘enter’. I have opted to use the meaning that resonates the best with me and the meaning I think is most relevant to my topic of discourse.

The meaning I chose reads Enter: ‘To be initiated in; as, to enter into a taste of pleasure or magnificence.’

Voice of God

What does the Voice of God mean?

From Wikipedia, I quote ‘In the Abrahamic religions, the voice of God is a communication from God to human beings, heard by humans as a sound with no apparent physical source.

In rabbinic Judaism, such a voice… was a “heavenly or divine voice which proclaims God’s will or judgment.”

Our creative God is not limited to one form of communication. He is All-Powerful; He is Omnipresent and Omniscient; He is Sovereign.

The Lord, therefore, speaks to us in many ways; including through the Bible, prayer, circumstances, spiritual gifts, common sense wisdom, conviction, His character, His peace, natural things, and even in times of silence.

Honoring and obeying God’s words is key to hearing the voice of God.

Knowledge

In Christianity, the word of knowledge is a spiritual gift listed in 1 Corinthians 12:8. It has been associated with the ability to teach the faith, but also associated with forms of revelation like prophecy. It is closely related to another spiritual gift, the word of wisdom.

Knowledge brings Understanding and understanding brings Wisdom.

From the above paragraphs, the revelation I received is beginning to make great sense to me when I piece a few sentences together from each of the three paragraphs above.

Therefore, from a literal standpoint, my take on the message of my revelation is the following:

 (Enter)– ‘Be initiated into a taste of pleasure or magnificence of (the voice of God)–  “God’s will or judgment.”  As a result of the proclamation of God’s will or judgment, we receive a spiritual gift of (knowledge)-the ability to teach the faith and to have forms of revelation like prophecy. Knowledge is closely related to another spiritual gift, the word of wisdom.

Knowledge, Understanding & Wisdom- In The Will of God

Knowledge brings Understanding and with understanding comes Wisdom.  All three words above -Knowledge, Understanding, and Wisdom- bring us to the truth of Salvation. In Salvation, we obey the voice of God and therefore in the Will of God.

In addition, in Salvation, and at God’s timing, when we transit to the Great Beyond, we make it to Heaven. In Heaven, we join the rest of the Heavenly Hosts and Angels to worship God for eternity with God sitting on the throne, Our Lord Jesus Christ sitting on His Right Hand, and the Holy Ghost sitting on His Left Hand.

Disobedience – Outside the Will of God

On the other hand, when we disobey the Will of God by not listening to His Voice, we ‘Enter into the voice of satan, and by default Enter darkness’.   The darkness initiates Sin and the wages of Sin is Death. Death in Sin leads to eternal damnation to Hell fire.

To wrap up my discourse, I quote what the Scriptures tell us in Proverbs 24:3-6, New King James Version ‘Through Wisdom a house is built, and by Understanding it is established; By Knowledge, the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.’

Obey The Voice of God

I’d like to conclude my discourse by stating that We All need to obey the voice of God by hearing and doing His word and His will. So th.at we can gain Knowledge, Understanding, and Wisdom. Scriptures tell us that Knowledge, Understanding, and Wisdom are treasures of life. (Proverbs 3:13-18).
