Jesus In Three Persons: A Biblical Mystery

Jesus In Three Persons: A Biblical Mystery

eorits

Then I heard Jesus Is Three Times.

As I wondered what this could mean, The Holy Spirit revealed to me that this is one of the mysteries of God. To get clarity on the topic, I went on to check out the internet for the meaning of a biblical mystery.

What is the biblical meaning of mystery?

A biblical mystery has a secret quality whose meaning is puzzling or unknown. A mystery is not comprehensible until its meaning is revealed. In Scripture, mystery refers to God’s secret thoughts (Dt. 29:29; cf. Job 38—39), plans, and dispensations, hidden from human reason and comprehension.

In Christian doctrine, the Holy Trinity (The Triune nature of God). is the unity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as three persons in one Godhead. The doctrine of the Divine Holy Trinity is one of the central Christian affirmations about God.

The Divine Holy Trinity

This is the doctrine of the Divine Holy Trinity- One True God. This means that there is one God who eternally exists as three distinct Persons — the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Stated differently, God is one in essence and three in person.

God The Father

God The Father is The Sovereign Lord, The Creator of all things, and The Sustainer of the universe (Galatians 1:3). He is All-Powerful, All-Knowing, and Ever-Present. As the first Person of the Trinity, He is distinct yet unified with The Son and The Holy Spirit, embodying perfect Love and Holiness.

God The Son

God the Son refers to Jesus Christ, the Son of God. This is Jesus as God in human form, who was sent to save humanity. He was sacrificed for the sins of humankind, which allows them to be reunited with God after death.

God The Holy Spirit

From my findings on the Internet, The Third Person of The Trinity is The Holy Spirit of God, distinct from The Father and The Son. His work is distinct from The Father who planned Redemption and The Son who carried out God’s plan for Salvation through His Life, Death, and Resurrection. The Holy Spirit now applies that work.

Analogy of The Stem

The analogy of the Divine Holy Trinity as portrayed by Patrick of Ireland, 5th century (Internet Reference), states that the Trinity is like a three-leaf clover with the three separate leaves connected by one STEM. The strength of this analogy is that it highlights the separateness of the three parts, while still remaining a unified whole.

By extension, tying my revelation of ‘Jesus Is Three Times’ to the above analogy means that Jesus can be viewed as the STEM that connects the parts -Jesus The Father, Jesus The Son, and Jesus The Holy Spirit.  I believe this revelation that portrays Jesus as The STEM is the truth.

I liken the STEM in the above analogy to the Vine referred to in the book of John 15:5-11 NKJV. “I am the Vine, you are the branches. Jesus is the Vine, the true Source of Life for us believers.

In this context, the VINE is The STEM to which The Triune God is connected. This explains why the Scriptures tell us “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). We all need Jesus to reach God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit.

Conclusion

Each Person of the Trinity is fully and equally God, yet they fulfill different roles, highlighting the difference in their functions within the Godhead. The Father initiates creation and redemption, the Son accomplishes it, and the Holy Spirit applies it to believers, working in perfect harmony.

The Holy Spirit then taught me a prayer that further clarified this mystery to me:

‘Let God’s Holy Will continue to be done on Earth as it is in Heaven concerning this revelation to The Glory, Honor, Power, Might, Wisdom, Adoration, Thanksgiving, Praise, Salvation, and Splendor of Our Holy Lord Jesus Christ, The Father, Our Holy Lord Jesus Christ The Son, and Our Holy Lord Jesus Christ The Holy Spirit who lives and reigns in unity, with The Glory of God The Father, and The Holy Spirit, from eternity to eternity in Jesus Mighty Name I declare this and So It Is, Amen.

Thanks Be To God The Almighty Father, Thanks Be To Our Lord Jesus Christ The Son, Thanks Be To The Holy Spirit.
