Then I heard ‘I heard I return to love’.
This message came to me when I was in a deep state of self-reflection. My reflections took me down memory lane as far back as I could go. And all I saw was how much Favor and Grace God had bestowed upon me. In my reflections, I recalled vividly, a conversation I had with one of my sons. At this time, I lived in the Sahel. Very far from Home- our country of origin. My son was about 17 years I recall and now, he is just about 40 years old.
Mother Son Talk
We were having a nice Mother/Son easy conversation that hot afternoon on the balcony, talking about everything and nothing. Then I heard him say, ‘Mom, I do not understand how God keeps blessing you and yet you are such a sinner?’ And I laughed from the bottom of my heart because it was indeed a good question, apt for the season for which I had no response. All I recall saying when I was able to catch my breath, was, Son, this is a question you should direct at God and not Me!
God Is Merciful and Gracious
Indeed, God has been merciful and gracious to me. When I look back on my journey, nothing that I did in my capacity justified how and where God has brought me.
So, when I heard ‘I return to Love’ the Holy Ghost was saying to me gently, don’t you think it is time to return to your first love, our Lord Jesus: He has shown you, such unconditional love, beyond your wildest imagination and he is not done yet!. And as I reflected on this, I agree with the Holy Ghost’s voice. And I said to myself, ‘ I risk it All to Return’ to My First Love-Our Lord Jesus Christ.
God’s unconditional love
The Love of God, the Love of Our Lord Jesus, and the Love of the Holy Ghost is unconditional. The Almighty God is merciful, compassionate, gracious, and always waiting to welcome us sinners when we repent of our ways and return to Him.
At this point in my life, there is nothing like being politically correct in the face of my Love for our LORD, Jesus Christ. I respect All in their different belief systems and do not challenge anyone’s belief system, but I take a firm stand and vote for my first love – Our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for my sins, redeemed me, and bestowed upon me His Grace of Mercy and Favor. At this point, I recommend you read the book of Isaiah, chapter 61, ‘The Year of God’s Favor’. God’s Great Love to Us ALL.
This kind of love is described by the Greeks as Agape Love.

- Says: “I commit to you.”
This is Godly Christian love. It is a committed sacrificial love. It says, “I love you because I choose to love you.” It loves regardless of personal cost or reciprocation.
This is the love that God has for us, that we should have for God, and that He teaches us to have for others. It is the strongest of all loves.

Conclusion
To finalize my write-up, the caption ‘I Risk It All and Return to Love’ is also a song by Andrea Bocelli that I love to listen to. Now, that I know My Lord Jesus differently, I see Him everywhere. The Holy Ghost falls on me with such a deep sense of Agape Love that I am so grateful I am chosen even in my deepest of sins. I repent of All my Sins and ask God to keep me perpetually on the right path to Righteousness and Holiness.
This is my clarion call to All, to repent of All sins and let us ALL, risk it All and return to our First Love- God, the Father, God, the Son, and God the Holy Ghost: Divine Holy Trinity-ONE GOD!
