God Is the Womb of Our Nation

eorits

I heard the voice say, ‘God Is The Womb of Our Nation’.

As always, I went to google to do my search on what this could mean biblically/ spiritually. I came across many references in my search of God as the womb of his people. I have referenced just a few ideas I picked up for my post.

My focus on this post based on my findings as ‘God The Womb of Nations’ however is on God’s attribute as a compassionate God.

What does the womb symbolize in the Bible?

KEY TAKEAWAYS. God is “compassionate,” closely related to the Hebrew word for “womb.” Most often, the word “compassion” and the deep emotion it conveys is associated with God. The Bible gives many pictures of God’s compassion—as a parent, a father, and even as a nursing mother.

‘God the womb of our Nation’ speaks to the compassionate nature of God, which is one of the attributes of God amongst other attributes which I pray the Holy Spirit gives me utterance to speak about sometime in the future.

Creation Is Formed in The Womb

The scriptures tell us that God created us ALL in heaven and on earth. Creation is normally formed in the womb. Even plants are created by God in God’s womb represented by the soil (underneath the soil) from which plants sprout. Everything living is birthed through God’s womb which God extends through the works of His creation.

What does the Bible say about life in the womb?

In these and other verses, the Bible affirms the life and value of unborn children. The Bible goes even further to explain that the unborn life is valuable because he or she has been uniquely created by God. Apostle Paul declares, “He himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else” (Acts 17:25).

God loves humans so dearly and has made it clear what his plans are for his children. In the book of Jeremiah, God says  “’For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.’” — Jeremiah 29:11

For By Him All Things were Created, in Heaven and on Earth.

In the book of Colossians 1:16, the Scriptures tell us that ‘For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.

A Mother Shows Compassion To A Child

As a mother who carries a baby in the womb cares for the baby and is compassionate towards the baby, so, does God care, love, and is compassionate towards the works of his creation.

Even when a mother does not show compassion towards her own child, the Scriptures tell us that God will always show compassion to His children. In the scriptures,   Isaiah 49:15, God says “Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget’. What a compassionate God we have and serve. God so loves His creation of humans so much that He gave up his only begotten son, our Lord Jesus Christ for SIN so that His creation can be saved and consequently be redeemed and so, enjoy a life of salvation.

This is the picture of the deep loving relationship God has with MAN (Humans).

God’s Anger and Wrath Never Lasts When We Repent

Though the Scripture speaks of God’s anger and wrath towards MAN when nations (the children of God) choose to continue to wallow in SIN and refuse to listen to the warnings of God’s prophets to repent, God always shows compassion when His children repent and return to HIM.

Scripture frequently mentions the mercy God provides for sins we commit if we are willing to repent. Nobody is perfect, and He knows we have all fallen short of his glory.

The Steadfast Love of God

In the book of Lamentations 3: 22-23, the scriptures tell us ‘The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

Because of the LORD’s great love, we are not consumed, for his compassion never fails.

Brethren, my understanding of God’s message to me is that God expects us to show love and compassion to one another. No matter what wrong a fellow individual has done to us, God wants us to forgive the individual and show compassion.

Conclusion

And finally to buttress the point mentioned in the paragraph above, here is what the Scripture says in the book of Colossians 3:13, ‘Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.’

On this note, I rest my case.

I fervently pray that God gives us ALL the heart to forgive ALL who have trespassed against us, as God forgives us ALL who trespass against HIM.

Praise Be to The Almighty God, Praise Be to Our Lord Jesus Christ, and Praise Be to the Holy Spirit of the Living God.

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
