Then I heard, ‘Adoration is God’.
And I inquired of The Holy Spirit, what this means, and I discerned that God wants His creation- Human Beings, to know and appreciate that He created Humans out of His deep Love for us and He expects us in return to adore Him
Meaning of Adoration
Adoration is often defined as praising God for who God is. In adoration, the Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is the object of our worship and exaltation. We praise the very nature of God, reminding ourselves that the Father is the most Holy, Almighty Creator of the universe.
In adoration, we acknowledge the Supreme Perfection and Dominion of God: God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit
Praise and Worship
Adoration involves the act of worshiping and praising God for His goodness, love, and majesty. This adoration can be expressed in silent prayer and through our actions as well as by our words. Therefore, some of the scripture selections listed below will include the actions of bowing down, kneeling, prostrating oneself, or expressing one’s adoration to God in other ways.
Demonstration of Adoration to God
In adoration, we address God Almighty with love, admiration, devotion, awe, and high regard. Some practice adoration prayers by repeating back to God His attributes, acknowledging His worthiness, and praising Him for Who He is and all He has done.
In addition, as one writer indicated on the internet, to “adore” the Lord means more than just saying, “I adore You.” True adoration involves a docile heart, an assent to God’s sovereignty over our lives, a constant posture of humility before Him, and gifts of love offered in homage.
Above all, we must remember that God loved us first.
God Created Man In His Own Image and Likeness
God created humans in His own image and likeness. Furthermore, God offered His only begotten Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ as the ultimate Sacrifice paid, to redeem us from eternal damnation, to reconcile us to God The Father, The Creator of this universe and all that is within it, underneath it and above it and to give us an eternal blissful life in Heaven.
With such a demonstration of passion for us humans, we must adore God in return for His love he generously bestowed upon us.
The Purpose For Which God Created Humans
This message ‘Adoration is God’ from The Holy Spirit is, therefore, a reminder to us All of the purpose for which God created Humans.
‘God created humans as an expression of His overflowing love, desiring to share His love and have a relationship with beings made in His image (Genesis 1:26-27)., wrote a writer on the internet. In addition, God created humans to glorify Him and to enjoy Him forever’.
Biblical scriptures tell us: “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.
Conclusion
I conclude by simply saying Adoration is synonymous with God.
We cannot claim to know and have a relationship with God if we do not know how to adore God.
God created Humans out of His pure Love for Humans; that pure love is also referred to as agape love which is unconditional love. In return, let’s adore Him.
The refrain of the Christmas hymn “O Come, All Ye Faithful” enjoins us to follow the example of the wise men with a threefold iteration:
“O come, let us adore Him;
O come, let us adore Him;
O come, let us adore Him, Christ, the Lord!”
Praise God Almighty, Praise Our Lord Jesus Christ, Praise The Holy Spirit
